New Delhi: Producer Anurag Kashyap on Monday picked up an acrimonious spat with the modi’s fans after his critical comment on the Prime Minister over the row on the film Padmavati. Support for his Bollywood colleague backfired him as the fan of PM, in a very big number, lashed out at the filmmaker and started abusing him.

Anurag Kashyap replayed to them initially. However, he succumbed later as the debate on the twitter become murky. Jumps into the Padmavati row the Producer, on early Monday, had taken a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP extremists for roughing up producer-director Sanjay Leela Bhansali while shooting in the Jaipur fort. Kashyap said that he grooms up asking questions to the government. If one has to fear the Prime Minister of the Country, it would be painful.

While strongly criticising the attack on Bhansali and persecuting his crew when they were shooting for the film Padmavati, Anurag Kashyap wrote on his Facebook Page, “I always learn to ask a  question from the government. I am doing this since I was a student. The difference is P V Singh was the Prime Minister that days, Now the Modi Ji is at the helm. I am taught that PM is the custodian of Country and the states with whom one can ask a question for their response”.

Kashyap further wrote: ” We choose our Prime Minister, therefore we can discuss our problem with him. We need not fear from him. If someone afraid from the Prime Minister, it is a matter of sorrow.  Respect can’t be called for. It is to be earned. That is the reason why he doesn’t fear while asking questions”.

it’s said.

Immediately after the tweet and Facebook post, Anurag Kashyap started trending in the social media. Fans of Modi took it hard and replayed on it immediately. Engulfed in the hundreds of negative response from the fans, Anurag Kashyap came up with another tweet with the reference of Wikipedia justifying the history. But it did not douse the blaze. The supporter started using filthy language against the producer. Some even called him “Bollywood terrorist”. Anurag Kashyap finally gives up and stopped giving reply further.

Rajput Karni Sena had vandalised the set of the film Padmavati and rough up the crew of the film last week while they were shooting in one of the forts of Jaipur. It was alleged that Sanjay Leela Bhansali was trying to distort the history of the Rajput in the film. According to the Sena, they had learnt that film portraying their queen Padmavati in wrong light. Bhansali was presenting the love scene of Padmavati with then King Alauddin khilji- which is not true.

It is pertinent to mention here that same controversy had emerged when Bhansali made his film Jodha Akbar a few years ago. However, that time the protest was peaceful. Rajput samaj, this time reached the set with lathi and danda’s and stopped the shooting.

Home Minister of the Rajasthan, G C Kataria, last week, had made a controversial statement that this incident abound, however law would take it course”.
