Russia told Pakistan to act against terrorism, both country resolve issues peacefully

Russia today openly supported the India’s stand on cross-border terrorism and told Pakistan that time has come when it has to take effective steps to stop the activities of terrorism being carried out from its soil. Our erstwhile close allies voiced concern over tension at the Line of Control between India and Pakistan.

Russian Foreign Ministry, in its statement over the aggravating issue, said both the neighbors should look forward to settling their disputes through talk and negotiations. The fight is not a solution to the problem this region facing. Both the parties not to allow any escalation of tension and try to settle the existing problems through political and diplomatic manner. Russia stands for the decisive struggle against terrorism in all its manifestations.

“It is expected from the Government of Pakistan to take effective steps in order to stop the terrorist activities being carried on”, the statement read. Since India did surgical attack in Pok, the tension of war between both the countries at its highest level.

Home Minister Rajnath Singh has already told our bordering state chief Minister to evacuate the villages that fall under 10 KM Jurisdiction of the International border. Pakistan too has increased its strength of troops on its eastern border. Pakistan has shifted around 5000 troops to PoK and Punjab reason since news of surgical strikes conducted by Indian Army.

Russia’s has recently done the joint military mock drill with Pakistan after Uri attack. This statement is a huge setback for Pakistan as it is struggling to get support from International community our terrorism. Recently, Afganistan, Bhutan, SriLanka, Bangladesh has also isolated our neighbor with their move to quit SAARC meet which is to be held in Pakistan later this month.
