The American-based online retail site offering Gandhi Slipper at 16.99 dollars. This new episode came to light when one youth contacted the External Affair Minister Sushma Swaraj on Twitter and informed about the incident. Two days ago, Sushma Swaraj took a dig on Amazon officials over the selling of doormats in Canada printed with Tricolour. Sushma went one step ahead and said all the officials of the Amazon working in India would have to have visa cancellation if this product not removed from the website promptly.

Fearing business loss in India because of nationwide flake for defaming the national flag of the country, Amazon regretted its mistake and had to apologize unconditionally. However, this new controversy roped in for selling Gandhi Slipper has put Amazon into new trouble. An e-commerce website can be defunct or heavily penalized as it dares to defame Indian integrity for the second time in the week.

It would be interesting to know how External Affair Minister Sushma Swaraj will react this time considering the previous stern stand of the government.
